About Us
Miss Lollys Kitchen is a family-owned, woman-led, boutique craft services and catering company inspired by our founder, Stephanie Smith Long’s, mother, Geraldine Timberlake aka Miss Lolly. Growing up Miss Lolly always had her girls, Stephanie and her younger sister Beverly, help in the kitchen. The girls had toy pots and pans that their mom let them cook in. On Sundays Miss Lolly always made two meats, a fresh vegetable, a big pot of rice, cornbread and dessert from scratch. When Stephanie had her own family she continued the tradition.
While visiting Beverly’s television show, ”Fashion Queens”, co host, Miss Lawrence, asked Stephanie to cook something for him. She made her daddy’s Shrimp & Grits and after sharing with one of the producers, Stephanie was asked to cater the Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for cast and crew. During the Christmas meal, one of the guest fell in love with the cornbread and referred Stephanie to another television production, that she catered for 55 cast and crew for the entire month and Miss Lollys Kitchen was born!
